Serial entrepreneur, investor, and AI executive with +20 years of experience building, scaling, and successfully exiting technology and financial services companies. Carlos has founded and led multiple venture and operating platforms, including Alpha Impact 8 Ventures, driving high-impact growth across fintech, AI, payments, and financial infrastructure.

Carlos brings a hands-on, execution-focused approach that turns strategy into measurable value creation.

ERIKA KURCZYN

Senior strategic partnerships and investment leader with +15 years of experience scaling innovation ecosystems across North America. Erika spent over a decade at BDC as Director of Portfolio Development for Strategic Investments and the Women in Tech Venture Fund.

Most recently, she led cross-border partnerships that generated over $30M in revenue through collaborations with organizations such as Microsoft and AWS, bringing a disciplined, execution-focused approach to growth and value creation.

Mexican-American economist and investor focused on AI, infrastructure, and credit, Nicole has recognized the transformative potential of AI in overlooked businesses before it becomes mainstream. Her investment thesis, "AI is the new means of production", helped form the foundation of 8alpha.ai’s investment thesis.

She believes the billion-dollar companies of tomorrow will be built by micro-teams wielding AI, fundamentally reshaping how businesses scale and compete.
